Welcome to the BU Arts District.

From moving theatre performances at our award-winning Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre to dynamic art exhibitions from guest artists and our visual arts students at the Faye G., Jo, and James Stone Gallery, our BU Arts District is booming and showing no signs of slowing down.

At BU College of Fine Arts, we welcome our Boston community (and beyond) to visit our campus and see student work (paintings, graphic designs, sculptures) displayed all around Terrier Town. We invite the community to catch jazz, wind, and orchestra concerts, and to mark their calendars for our annual School of Music concert at Symphony Hall, recognized as one of the world’s finest concert halls.

We’re also a walk, or short train ride, away from some of Boston’s most incredible art organizations, such as the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Boston’s art scene truly does continue to thrive, with the bustling Downtown Theater District and concert venues for music lovers of all kinds. Best of all, students can get into most of these venues for free or at a discounted rate! Visit BU Arts Initiative for more on art memberships and discounts available to our BU community of students, faculty, and staff.

Now, enjoy zooming in and out of the map below as you explore our venues and facilities.
