BU Building Hits “Net-Zero” Goal

As part of the Boston Planning and Development Agency’s initiative, known as the Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO), Mayor Wu’s administration strives to achieve “net zero” greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050.
In his report for the Boston Business Journal, senior reporter Greg Ryan shares the citywide proposal to minimize emissions and encourage developers to obtain LEED Gold certification for larger new buildings.
