• Area of Study General Biology

Class Year

Class of 2026

Where are you from?

Worcester, Massachusetts

What is your favorite Biology or BMB course?

BI 310 (Human Structure & Function: Anatomy, Histology and Pathology) which I took during my junior year. My favorite part about this course was learning about the histology (study of tissues) of different groups of cells in our bodies. Not only was it interesting to learn about different parts of the body, but to also see what they looked like under the microscope as well as study what constitutes them. In this course, you also get to learn all the different muscles, bones and nerves in the body and the vital role they play.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?

Alpha Epsilon Delta, the Pre-Physician Assistant Club and SLIC (Student Leadership and Impact Center)

What is your favorite dining spot on or around campus?

West Campus Dining Hall and El Jefe’s

What is your favorite BU memory?

My favorite BU memory is volunteering at the LASPCA (Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in New Orleans, as part of the ASB (Alternative Service Break) program offered by the CSC (Community Service Center which is now SLIC)

What’s one BU tip you wish you knew sooner?

Classes and work will always make you busy and your schedule cramped . Make sure you always make time for yourself by practicing self care, doing the things you love and getting off Comm. Ave. every once in a while. Always prioritize important assignments first but most importantly, always let your mental health be your top priority.

What are your post-graduation plans?

I plan on taking a gap year or 2 before going to PA (Physician Assistant) school.
