What is your favorite Biology or BMB course?

What kind of research have you done?

I’m investigating the mechanisms and regulation of mitochondrial RNA processing in Trypanosoma brucei, which is responsible for causing the African sleeping sickness, over at the BU medical campus.

 

How did you get your research position?

I read about my principal investigator’s research online at the BU Department of Infectious Diseases, so I emailed her and expressed my utmost interest in her project and wished to work with her.

 

What extracurricular activities are you involved in?

Clinical volunteering, where I worked in an allergy and immunology clinic, I will also be starting to volunteer at the Boston Medical Center. I am also volunteering at a homeless shelter serving the homeless breakfast and lunch.

 

What is your favorite dining spot on or around campus?

Warren dining hall

 

What is your favorite BU memory?

Splash and squeezing into the T every morning to class
