Current Research:

My research focuses on the early life history and population dynamics of tropical tunas in the central equatorial Pacific Ocean. Specifically, I’m interested in using zooplankton samples to study the larval ecology and genetic structure of tuna, and incorporating genetics and modeling techniques to assess spatiotemporal trends in Pacific tuna populations in the context of climate change and high commercial fishing pressure.
