What is your favorite Biology or BMB course?
Systems Physiology (BI315)
What kind of research have you done?
I work with cardiomyocytes and patient-derived light chains to decipher the cellular mechanisms that drive clonal plasma cell derived-light chain induced cardiotoxicity
How did you get your research position?
I got my research position by cold emailing different labs at BU. I am grateful to have gotten a response from my great mentor in a field I am very interested in!
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am the co-founder and vice president of Prevent at BU, which is a preventive medicine student organization on campus. Additionally, I am the vice-president of the South Asian Student Association at BU. I do research at the Center for Regenerative Medicine on the medical campus and volunteer at Rosie’s Place, a woman’s shelter, in South Boston.

What are your post-graduation plans?
