Data Subject Expert

A Data Subject Expert is a senior leader whose work depends on and influences authoritative institutional data. In collaboration with Data Executives and Trustees, they provide deep insight into how data should be accessed, used, and governed to support business and strategic needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Data Executives to define business use guidelines and access standards
• Identify data appropriate for public release
• Support the development of standards and procedures for data access and use
• Participate in governance activities to help define and oversee data policies with groups like the Governance groups
