Data Steward

The Data Steward manages the day-to-day quality, accuracy, and access of institutional data. They apply policies, monitor compliance, and ensure data is reliable and secure within their area.

Key responsibilities include:

• Apply data standards and maintain asset records in the data catalog.
• Train users and monitor operational compliance.
• Define quality metrics and run audits or error checks.
• Support appropriate access, retention, and risk management.
• Collaborate on policy implementation and report issues to the Data Trustee.
