About Data Enablement

Boston University’s Data Enablement Program is designed to strengthen how information supports strategic decision-making across the institution. By advancing our ability to gather, define, analyze, and deliver data in a consistent and meaningful way, the program empowers the BU community and external partners to make data-informed decisions with confidence.
At its core, Data Enablement promotes a culture that treats data as a valuable institutional asset—one that must be carefully maintained, responsibly governed, and proactively enabled to meet both current needs and future opportunities, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
