Love and Anguish: Then and Now
The award-winning ensemble La Donna Musicale, directed by Brandeis Women's Studies Research Center scholar Laury Gutiérrez, will present "Love and Anguish: Then and Now" on March 21st and 22nd .The concerts will be preceded by a lecture from Prof. Robert Kendrick of the University of Chicago on eighteenth-century women composers, including the brilliant Italian virtuosa Maria Teresa Agnesi. The new Public Art & Civic Design Conference is a two and a half day convening to further dialogue and learning about art and design in the built environment.
