During her studies at BU, she worked as a graduate assistant in the School of Visual Arts and interned in the trust advisory services department at a financial planning company, where she gained experience with estate planning. Combining all of her experiences and passions, she moved to New York City to work at Christie’s Auction House in the education department.

Staying within higher education and fundraising, Mackenzie now works at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as the Associate Advancement Officer in Alumni Relations. This role focuses on fundraising, and on-campus programming for the university. In her current role she took the Boston University Certificate in Professional Fundraising to further enhance her knowledge in the non-profit field.

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience in the Boston University Arts Administration program. Being in Boston—and at a great institution—gave me the tools I needed to discover my career path and create a larger network in the art world. In addition to its strong academics, being in a city that is full of arts institutions gave me excellent opportunities.”
