Job: Marketing and Project Coordinator
Jules Place is seeking a highly organized, creative, and client-focused Marketing and Project Coordinator to join our small, collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing creative and operational tasks, and excels at building strong, professional relationships. The coordinator will lead digital marketing initiatives, oversee client projects from concept through installation, and support daily operations.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in our light-filled South End office, located in the heart of Boston’s vibrant SoWA Art + Design District—home to some of the city’s most exciting galleries, studios, and creative businesses. The candidate must be available on-site five days a week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Coordination (45%)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, artists, framers, and vendors
- Manage timelines, budgets, and logistics for corporate and residential art placements
- Attend and lead client meetings across Greater Boston, Cape Cod, and the Island
- Prepare and present curated artwork selections tailored to each project
- Coordinate framing, delivery, and professional installation
- Handle and transport artwork, including lifting pieces up to 50 pounds
Marketing (45%)
- Plan and execute weekly email campaigns to a list of 2,600+ subscribers
- Design branded marketing materials, pitch decks, and digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PowerPoint
- Maintain and update the company website and social media presence
- Analyze campaign performance to refine content strategy and drive engagement
- Ensure brand consistency across all client and public-facing communications
Administrative Duties (10%)
- Organize and maintain digital and physical project files
- Track and manage artwork inventory
- Support invoicing, scheduling, and office logistics
- Assist with internal coordination and office management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, client services, or a related field
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, client-facing presence
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)
- Comfortable lifting artwork and working in both office and on-site client settings
- Valid driver’s license required; reliable transportation is not necessary
- Background or strong interest in contemporary art and interior design
