Internship: Social Media/Marketing
Cantata Singers is looking for a creative, driven Social Media/Marketing Intern to help amplify our voice in the digital space for the 2025-26 season! Whether you’re into social media trends, digital marketing, classical music, or all of the above, this is your chance to get hands-on experience in a vibrant arts organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We’re looking for an intern to help shape our social media presence. This is a great opportunity to work in a creative, dynamic environment where you’ll gain real experience with content creation, social strategy, and analytics—while supporting the mission of an arts org. You’ll work alongside our team to drive engagement and showcase the magic of music in a way that resonates with both long-time classical fans and the next-gen music lovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Design eye-catching graphics, photos, and videos for our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
- Social Media Management: Publish posts, track engagement, and interact with followers to grow our online community.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute social media strategies for upcoming events and initiatives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Measure the success of campaigns, share insights, and brainstorm how we can do better next time.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Creative Visionary: Someone who brings fresh ideas to the table and knows how to tell compelling stories visually and through words. If you’re up on the latest trends, even better.
- Social Media Pro: You know your way around Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube (bonus points for video editing skills). You also know how to track analytics and understand what makes an online campaign pop.
- Tech-Savvy: You’ve got a basic understanding of digital tools (video editing, analytics, and Vibe marketing are a plus, or you’re ready to learn).
- Arts Enthusiast: You’re passionate about music and the arts and excited to work in a creative, mission-driven organization.
- Self-Starter: You’re comfortable working independently, keeping your schedule flexible, and hitting deadlines.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION :
- Location: Remote (Boston-area preferred, but flexible!)
- Hours: 10-15 hours/week, flexible to fit your class schedule
- Compensation: Unpaid, but packed with experience and the opportunity to build your portfolio
TO APPLY:
Send your resume and relevant work samples (e.g., social media posts, design work, campaigns) to mkronberg@cantatasingers.org by:
