Internship: Arts Consulting Internship
Dentino Arts Consulting (DAC) is a newly-formed nonprofit consultancy led by BU Arts Admin alumna Jackie Dentino (MET ’15). DAC engages in short-term consulting projects with nonprofit organizations in the arts administration, peace-building, and animal welfare spaces with focus on the following areas:
- Audience Cultivation/Development
- Budgeting
- Community Access
- Event Planning
- Fundraising Strategy & Implementation
- Grant Writing
- Strategic Planning
DAC seeks an intern for 5-10 hours/week of administrative support, with a variety of responsibilities across all 3 of DAC’s current clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- Data Entry
- Grant Research
- Prospect Identification & Screening
- Taking Meeting Minutes
- Scheduling Meetings
- Running Relevant Errands
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Development, marketing, and operational needs, depending on the current projects.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
This is the perfect internship for someone who is interested in arts administration and/or nonprofit consulting and would like to gain hands-on experience in more than one administrative department.
This position is primarily remote, although the student must be based in the greater Boston area. This internship allows for a flexible schedule, is eligible for academic credit, and offers a modest stipend of $500/month.
