Internship: Grant Writing
Artysh Lab is looking for Grant Writers to join their team.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Artysh Lab is seeking a dedicated and passionate Grant Writer to support our mission of creating engaging classical music experiences for babies and young families. The Grant Writer will play a key role in growing our organization’s capacity by researching, applying for, and managing grants in collaboration with our leadership and development teams. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about arts funding and nonprofit development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and manage grant application processes while identifying new funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to set goals, create budgets, and develop a strategic fundraising plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with foundations, corporations, and government agencies that provide arts funding.
- Maintain a detailed grants tracker and funding database.
- Provide regular updates for leadership meetings.
- Participate in 1-2 weekly 30-minute check-in meetings with the leadership team and other grant-writing collaborators.
COMPENSATION
- Â This is an unpaid position. Students with CPT/OPT status are welcome to apply.
REQUIREMENTS
- A commitment of 10-15 hours per week.
- Basic understanding of nonprofit or small business development, grant research, and fundraising strategies.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to collaborate with a dynamic and innovative arts organization.
