Internship: Fundraising and Development

The Boston Showstoppers is particularly interested in connecting with students who are pursuing degrees in nonprofit management, business, or marketing and who are looking for practical, hands-on experience in these fields. The organization offers a dynamic environment where interns can apply their academic knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute meaningfully to their mission.

ABOUT BOSTON SHOWSTOPPERS

The Boston Showstoppers is a nonprofit dedicated to providing a platform where young ladies ages 7-19 years old can excel academically, mentally and socially all while using basketball as the vehicle that drives home the importance of commitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies
Participate in marketing and outreach campaigns
Work closely with our management team on business operations and nonprofit management
Gain real-world experience in project management and donor relations

COMPENSATION

This is an unpaid, for credits only internship.

SCHEDULE AND LOCATION

Remote
October 2024 to March 2025
No specific hours as long as the tasks get completed (School vacations and weekends off).
