Instructor Receives Boston University Award
Wendy Swart Grossman was selected as a 2023 recipient of the Henry Morgan Award by Questrom for her outstanding contribution to the innovation field at Boston University.
When I was notified that I would be receiving the Henry Morgan Award from the Questrom School of Business I was both shocked and thrilled. Shocked because as a PT Adjunct Faculty member, it is easy to be lost in the monolith of the world of BU. And thrilled to know that the work I have been deeply involved with here at BU is being seen, valued and publicly acknowledged.
I am proud to have led, taught, mentored and worked alongside hundreds of students from across all 17 schools helping to bring their creative innovations and ideas to light in a variety of formats. From creating, launching and teaching Creative Startups: From Ideas to Impact (MET AR789) offered in the Arts Administration Graduate Program with my Creative Re/Frame co-founder Jen Guillemin.
To creating, designing and implementing, along with the incredible team at Innovate@BU, IDEA Con, the nation’s largest student innovation and entrepreneurship conference.
And as of 2023, I am a faculty member at the Questrom School of Business where I teach Idea to Impact (SI250).
Mostly however, I both thrilled to have been acknowledged and in awe of the teams of students, faculty and staff I have had a chance to work with as together we help launch ideas, businesses, and movements with positive impact in our shared world.
