Internship: Development Intern

Emmanuel Music is actively seeking a Development Intern, who will be reporting to the Individual & Institutional Giving Managers and works closely with the Executive Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track and enter donations into AudienceView CRM
  • Support grant research and tracking
  • Draft and process donation acknowledgment letters
  • Organize and digitize donor files
  • Assist in maintaining Development calendar
  • Support digital content creation for fundraising campaigns and regularly produced institutional messaging in conjunction with marketing department
  • Participate in development and development-related meetings
  • Provide administrative support for grant proposals and reporting, and corporate sponsorships, as needed
  • Support and attend occasional Emmanuel Music events and performances, as needed
  • Research project(s) related to donor prospecting, as needed

This internship is available for academic credit only.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must currently be enrolled in a credit-granting course
  • Must be interested in learning about the administrative work of nonprofit organizations
  • Experience working with Google Workspace is preferred
  • Knowledge of/interest in classical music, and performing arts is preferred
  • Detail oriented
