Job: Development and Events Coordinator
CMCB is at an exciting juncture in our 113-year history, and we are eager to welcome a fourth full-time staff member to the advancement team. This role is an excellent early-career position for candidates with interest in the arts, education, and fundraising sectors who have good analytical skills and the ability to accomplish tasks independently. The Development and Events Coordinator will work closely with senior members of the department on a range of projects, spanning analysis, research, event planning, and donor relations. Our advancement department works very closely with our programs team to center the voices of young people, and this role would be no exception. While previous experience or interest in nonprofit fundraising is a plus, any candidate with attention to detail, good communication skills, strong critical thinking, and a willingness to learn could thrive in this role. Like all roles at CMCB, there is significant investment in professional development training, mentorship from senior staff, and opportunity for future promotion within the department.
