Boston University’s Dance Theatre Group Visions 2022
BOSTON – Boston University’s Dance Theatre Group is pleased to present VISIONS 2022, a Spring Dance Concert, on April 22nd at 8 PM and 23rd at 8 PM. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by student and faculty choreographers and will take place in Boston University’s Dance Theatre.
Highlighting the talent and creativity of BU students, VISIONS 2022 will include:
- Student-choreographed pieces, mentored by dance faculty Micki Taylor-Pinney, Liz Roncka, and William McLaughlin
- New repertory works by faculty members Jossie Coleman and Margot Parsons
- Large group and small group performances
- A variety of music and styles
- Diverse dances, ranging from traditional to experimental, abstract to thematic, and light-hearted to contemplative
VISIONS 2022 will be happening at Boston University’s Dance Theatre, located at 915 Commonwealth Avenue. It is a 223-seat studio theater space designed specifically for dance performances, classes, and special events.
Dance Theatre Group’s spring concert is presented in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (Timothy Moore, Executive Director, and Micki Taylor-Pinney, Director of Dance) and partially funded by the Undergraduate Student Fee. Admission to VISIONS 2022 is $20 for the general public and $15 for students and all members of the BU community with ID.
