AMA June Conference Call for Proposals

Join us as presenters and contributors for the Alberta Museums Association (AMA)’s 50th Anniversary Conference Series! The AMA Conference program is built from submissions from you, our colleagues and members of Alberta’s and Canada’s museum sector.

The June Event in our 2021 Conference Series will continue our year-long exploration of the trends and priorities that are shaping the future of our sector. We especially want to hear from small museums and professionals working in rural communities. We also welcome proposals that take advantage of the virtual environment and get creative with the time, delivery method, and format that will allow you to best share your work in a digital space.

Click to view the Call for Proposals for more information about presenting during the live half-day event or contributing to the tie-in content that will be released alongside the formal program.

The deadline to submit your proposal for our June Event is April 12, 2021.

Have an idea for a proposal, but not quite sure if it will fit the program? The AMA Secretariat is happy to work with you to develop ideas and offer feedback! If you have questions or want to discuss potential proposals, please email Ben Fast, Program Lead, at learning@museums.ab.ca.

Thank you and good luck planning your proposals.
