Call for Student Art

BU Arts Initiative hopes to engage Boston University’s diverse population of artists through the student-curated student gallery located in the Arts Initiative office.

BU Arts Initiatives Office Gallery Submission Protocol 

 In reflection of our mission to integrate art into the educational experience of every BU student, we encourage both art and non-art majors throughout Boston University’s 17 schools to submit non-graded artwork to be showcased and shared with the broader BU community. 

To streamline the process of curating and installing artwork for the BU Arts Initiative office gallery, we require artists to submit their artwork with:

  • Images of artworks. Please name image files with your last name and the work’s title, separated by a period (e.g. Smith.Untitled).
  • Dimensions.
  • Medium.
  • Artist statement. Please provide a statement of no more than one page describing your artistic vision, especially in the context of the work(s) you have submitted.

*Artworks submitted without the above information will not be considered.
