Guest Speaker: M. Christine Dwyer
The Arts Administration program welcomed Chris Dwyer as a guest speaker in the Advanced Management and Consulting class on April 19. Ms. Dwyer is the Senior Vice President of RMC Research, Inc., a national research and consulting firm with offices in Portsmouth, NH, Arlington, VA, Portland, OR, Denver, CO, Tampa, FL, and New York City. Dwyer is nationally known for her expertise in program and policy research, evaluation, and the development of practical training and technical assistance tools. She has contributed a number of seminal arts analyses for the Rockefeller Foundations, the Pew Charitable Trusts, the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, and others. She has served as a Portsmouth City Counselor and has served on numerous art organization boards.
Ms. Dwyer will speak with AR 804 students about the practical issues of establishing a professional consulting practice in the arts.
