Chen Cao (CAS’14, SPH’16)

As the lead for emerging technologies and solutions, Chen is spearheading the exploration of artificial intelligence, spatial computing, and other digital solutions across Mass General Brigham. His expertise lies at the intersection of technology, health and equity, and digital innovation. Chen works closely with clinicians, researchers, trainees, and hospital staff to address challenges and strategic needs, while leveraging an array of technology solutions to solve these pain points. A dual-degree graduate of Boston University, Chen received his Master of Public Health in Global Health and Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Prior to his role at Mass General Brigham, he has worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as well as projects with the World Health Organization (WHO), Health Action International (HAI), and the Ministry of Health of Kenya.
