BU Alumni Day at the Races in San Diego

Calling all Boston University alumni! Join your fellow Terriers in Southern California and celebrate the 75th anniversary of Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. The Boston University Alumni Association invites you to attend the Pacific Classic, Del Mar’s richest and most prestigious race of the season, on Sunday, August 26. Whether you’re wearing your finest BU gear, a seersucker suit, or a fascinator, we’d love to see you! Watch as some of the country’s top horses compete at the classic distance of 1¼ miles in the 22nd running of Del Mar’s signature event. Then take a break in the Paddock View Terrace and mingle with fellow Boston University alumni. Gates Open: 10:30 a.m. First Post: 1 p.m. Ticket price includes admission to the races, admission to the Paddock View Terrace, and a light spread of food and beverages. In addition, guests will receive a Pacific Classic/Del Mar 75th Anniversary polar fleece at the gates (given on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last). The Boston University Alumni Association is working hard to organize more events and interaction for alumni in the greater San Diego area.
