Our primary goal is straightforward: make Boston University School of Law the best place in the world to be a law student. This is an ambitious target, but it is the right one, and we try to hit the mark consistently.
We give our all in the classroom, and we promote a culture that is committed to putting the student experience first. Our #1 ranking on The Princeton Review's 2012 Best Professors list reflects how well we deliver on what matters most: inspiring students to develop their academic skills and strongest professional selves.
We combine great teaching with an expansive curriculum. We have best-in-class clinical programs, challenging externships and more study-abroad opportunities than almost any other law school in the country. And we have the distinct advantage of being part of one of the country's largest urban research universities, giving students the opportunity to expand their horizons in tandem with their legal studies.
Perhaps most importantly, we cultivate a community of support. We aim to embrace individual cognitive styles and have tried to organize our programs to ensure that you learn in ways that work best for you. We make it our business to do our best to support your career goals from the day that you enter BU Law.
The best advice that I have ever received for my career and my life came from my mom: Embrace your unique characteristics and find a way to make them work for you. Do what you love and enjoy the people you meet along the way. Staying true to yourself will lead you down the right path. We look forward to helping you do just that at BU Law.
