Event Recap: Chinese Dance and Chinese Characters Workshop
We are pleased to extend our sincere thanks to the acclaimed dancer and educator, Melody Xie, who led our unique cultural workshop, “Chinese Dance and Chinese Characters,” held on Thursday, November 6, at Global House.
The workshop explored the fascinating connection between movement and language. Attendees learned about various types of Chinese dance and discovered innovative techniques for using physical movements to help remember and understand Chinese characters (Hanzi). The event was a highly engaging, hands-on experience that provided our students with a valuable cultural opportunity.
We are also incredibly grateful for the essential support from the Geddes Language Center and Global House, who helped make this event a success.
