Liling Huang Received 2023 ACTFL Research Priorities Initiative Grant Award
The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages has selected the study by Senior lecturer Liling Huang to be part of the 2023 research priorities grant initiative, along with 12 other studies nationwide. “The purpose of the ACTFL Research Priorities Project is to support empirical research on six priority areas that are currently critical to improving World Language education.” Liling’s study, Empowering Novice Chinese Learners’ Transformative Learning through Critical Virtual Exchange—a multimodal translingual approach, falls under the intercultural learning and teaching strand.
