Learn about the history of Korean calligraphy and traditional games with the Korean language department and Korean cluster! Then try them out for yourself. We’ll have traditional Korean games: gonggi, jegichagi, and yutnori, as well as calligraphy. Sign up here.
Arab Influence on Portuguese Culture – Sunday, November 2, 5-7pm | Global House Lounge
Did you know that Arab influence exists in many cultures in the Iberian Peninsula? Join Mayasa and Jessica to explore the cultural influence of Arab cultures in Portugal! From art and architecture to language, Portugal remembers its Moorish roots. We’ll explore commonalities in art styles, paint our own azulejos, and learn shared vocabulary in both languages.
