2021 Virtual Celebration of our Graduates

WLL faculty, staff, and students gathered on Zoom with families and friends to celebrate our hard working class of 2021. The virtual event kicked off with a welcome address from Professor Margaret Litvin (available here), WLL Department Chair, followed by a student address from Jiaxin Peng, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Japanese Language & Literature (available here).

Members of the WLL faculty celebrated each student by taking a few moments to speak about each graduate and the impact they have left on the Department of World Languages & Literatures.

A program for the virtual event had been shared with friends and families prior to the Zoom meeting, proudly displaying all WLL graduates and prize winners. The program is available for viewing here.

We had the chance to honor a few of our graduates who received awards for this academic year. The comprehensive list of award winners for 2020-2021 is available here.

Congratulations to the class of 2021!
