Korea Tea Time
The Korean Program had two get-togethers with students at the “Korean Tea Time” outside the classroom in Fall 2019. During the Tea Time, students met other students who were taking different Korean courses at BU and shared their interests and experience about the Korean language and culture. At the Tea Time, while enjoying Korean snacks, students played Korean traditional and modern games and had time to learn more about the language and culture with fun quizzes
Korean Speech Contest
As featured in the BU Hub Inaugural Newsletter, students enrolled in CAS LK 322, Korean for the Professions (which fulfills Global Citizenship and Intercultural Literacy, Oral and/or Signed Communication, Teamwork/Collaboration) attended a Korean Speech contest at Wellesley College on November 16th. This event provided LK 322 students with the opportunity to observe, listen, and practice their Korean language skills with students from other colleges and universities throughout New England.
