Jungsoo Kim Receives STARTALK Grant to Teach Summer Program
Jungsoo Kim, Lecturer in the Korean Language Program, received a STARTALK grant to run a summer teacher training program. STARTALK’s mission is to increase the number of U.S. citizens learning, speaking, and teaching critical need foreign languages
This is the second time the STARTALK Online Korean Teacher Training program will be offered.
The five-week program focuses on training K-16 Korean language teachers to use up-to-date educational technology tools and helping them develop resources using the tools they have learned. The online application is available on the program website at www.koreanteachertraining.com
