Project Manager / Assistant – Spirit of Wonder Storytelling
This project requires organization of storytelling materials, marketing, and managing websites and engaging in research as appropriate. Research includes interviewing and report reporting on a variety of topics related to cultural differences, creativity is allowed.

Research Assistant – Exploration of Impact of Math Sequences
We will search for sequences of math tasks that could impact the experiences of learners so we could study the connection between sequence and impact. This would include analysis of textbook materials, mathematical problem solving, and data collection and analysis.

Project Assistant – Advancing Mentor Teachers’ Practices through Collaborative Pedagogical Reasoning
This project focuses on how elementary teachers make instructional decisions during math lessons. The team studies how teachers interpret and respond to students’ mathematical ideas and uses these insights to develop strategies that support novice teachers. Project Assistants will assist with transcribing lesson episodes and engaging in qualitative data analysis.
Students will receive 2 course credits (no pay).

Research Assistant – Study of Co-Design in Educational Innovation
This project focuses on how researchers work with different stakeholders (teachers, students, families, other) to design educational innovations that are useable, scalable, and sustainable. The research assistant will assist in transcription, data organization, and coding articles and interviews.
