The BU Wheelock Alumni Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of our alumni who have made a significant impact in their fields and communities. These awards recognize individuals who embody the values of BU Wheelock—excellence, innovation, and a deep commitment to education and human development. Whether through groundbreaking research, transformative teaching, or dedicated service, our alumni continue to inspire and create positive change worldwide.
The Alumni Awards are a special opportunity to honor individuals whose work has advanced education, health, and human development in meaningful ways. Alumni of Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, historic Wheelock College, and historic BU SED at all career stages are eligible to be nominated, from emerging leaders to seasoned professionals, who exemplify leadership, creativity, and service in their respective fields.
2026 Alumni Awards
The 2026 awardees will be announced in early August 2026. Please join us for a special event to honor the 2026 awardees, which will be held during BU’s Alumni Weekend on Saturday, September 19, 10 am–12 pm.
