Alumni Awards Nomination Form

Nominations for BU Wheelock Alumni Awards may be submitted by faculty, staff, alumni, or peers in the community. All previous graduates (both undergraduate and graduate) of BU Wheelock, BU School of Education, and Wheelock College are eligible for consideration of these awards. Any award may not be presented if no eminently qualified candidate is identified that year.

Lucy Wheelock Award
Considered BU Wheelock’s top award, honors an alumna/alumnus who has demonstrated exemplary service and leadership to their profession or their community, including advocating for social justice, systemic change, and diversity.

Young Alumni Award
Honors an alumna/alumnus who has demonstrated leadership potential in their profession and who graduated from a BU Wheelock-affiliated undergraduate or graduate degree program in the last 10 years.

Outstanding Contribution to the Alma Mater & Alumni Award
Honors an alumna/alumnus who has made significant contributions to the BU Wheelock community.

Distinguished Achievement Award
Honors an alumna/alumnus for extraordinary achievement at the local, state, national, and/or global level.
