Professor Tyler’s research focuses on the history of lyric poetry, contemporary poetry, poetry in translation, art and ethics, Irish literature, and intersections between art history and literature. Her books include Poor Earth, a collection of poems, and A Singing Contest: Conventions of Sound in the Poetry of Seamus Heaney.
