Due to the large volume of applications and our processing requirements, UROP deadlines are strict. Late applications must be approved by UROP staff in advance, and extensions longer than 24 hours are rarely granted.

Submission Deadlines

Learn when applications for the UROP program are due.

Two separate online components are required to apply for UROP funding:

1. Student application
2. Recommendation letter from the research mentor

Mentor recommendations are due by midnight on the application due date. Our application system will notify your mentor once you have applied and direct them to the recommendation form. However, your mentor may complete the faculty recommendation forms at any time prior to your application submission. The page is access restricted via Kerberos login to faculty and staff.
