Submission deadlines for 2023–2024 applications
All applications are due on the dates listed below. Mentor letters of recommendation are due by midnight.
Fall — Monday, September 11, 20223by noon
Spring — Friday, December 8, 2023 by noon
Summer — Wednesday, March 6, 2024 by noon
Summer 2024 Humanities, Arts & Preprofessional (HAP) Scholars – Friday, April 19, 2024 by noon
The 2024 summer program runs from early June – early August.
Due to the large volume of applications and our processing requirements, UROP deadlines are strict. Late applications must be approved in writing by UROP staff in advance, and requests for extensions may not be granted.
Beginning in fall 2023, applications for travel for conference participation or research-related purposes and for research supplies are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing. Travel must have occurred or occur within 2 months of the application submission.
