Summer Housing

Students receiving UROP funding in summer 2026 can take advantage of an on-campus summer housing block, offered at a prorated 10-week rate on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Summer 2026 UROP Program Dates
June 1 – August 7

Important Summer Housing Details:

  • Move in: Sunday, May 31st, 10 AM – 4 PM
  • Move out: Saturday, August 8th, by 12 PM
  • The rate for housing for summer 2026 UROP awardees is $308/week
  • 48 beds available, in singles, doubles and triples at 167-169 Bay State Road
  • Singles, doubles, and triples are all charged at the rate of $308/week
  • There is a common area with a kitchen
  • Meal plans are not required. You can opt-in to meal plans 10, 14, or 19
  • **These units do not have air conditioning**
  • To sign up, you will need to complete the Summer Groups Application in the My Housing Portal after you accept your UROP award

Important Bridge Housing Details

Spring 2026 On-Campus Residents

Option 1: You will be charged $399/week, which is a total of $798 for the period of May 18 through June 1. To choose this option you must commit to the entire bridge period, earliest move in allowed after 4pm on May 18.

Option 2: You may move out of your spring assignment by Saturday, May 9, by noon, and return to campus on Sunday, May 31st, for move-in between 10 AM and 4 PM. Earliest move in date is May 31st, we will not be able to accept any early arrivals.

Fall 2026 On-Campus Residents
Option 1: Remain in your summer assignment from Saturday, August 8, until Friday, August 21, at 10 AM, when you will transition to the fall 2026 academic year assignment. You will be charged $399/week, and you must commit to the full bridge period.

Option 2: You can move out of your summer assignment on Saturday, August 8, by noon, and return to campus on your scheduled move-in day for the fall 2026 semester. We will not be able to accept any arrivals prior to Friday, August 28.

Fall 2026 Off-Campus Residents
Students who are not living on campus for the Fall 2026 semester must move out of their UROP summer assignment no later than noon on Saturday, August 8. You will not be able to extend past this date and time.
