MGH Center for Suicide Research and Prevention

The Center for Suicide Research and Prevention (CSRP) at Mass General Brigham and Harvard seeks student interns interested in pursuing clinical research starting Fall 2026. The CSRP is a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) funded practice-based center aiming to advance and implement research that prevents suicide, in addition to delivering innovative tools on suicide prevention to health systems. CSRP projects include the development of a machine learning algorithm to assist in clinical decision making, enhanced community outreach to support suicide attempt survivors following emergency room discharge, risk assessment for minority youth, and a micro-randomized trial assessing just-in-time interventions for those at risk.

Working closely with the CSRP Administrative Core Staff, the Intern will participate in day-to-day Center operations and gain invaluable research and research administration experience (including, but not limited to: aiding in project management, community outreach, and management of IRB documents). This role provides an immersive experience in the clinical research process and supports development and learning opportunities. No prior research experience is required for this role. Internships are in-person (select remote days possible).
