Volunteer Basis, Potential for Academic Credit

Overview

Are you knowledgeable about any of these: AI, statistics, cross-cultural psychology? Assist me, a psychology professor,in designing AI-based and statistics-based course assignments; and assignments with cross-cultural relevance.

You will learn about innovative classroom practices. You will help design and conduct research on how different course assignments can boost student engagement and learning. For example: two psychology profs are teaching different sections of the same experimental psychology class. We hope to vary some of the assignments systematically across the two classes and then compare student learning.

Send your resume and your relevant background, such as psychology and statistics classes taken, and skills such as data management, analysis, and interpretation. Include your hours when you are available to attend regular weekly meetings for spring 2026. There is no set number of hours per week, because I value creativity, energy, knowledge, skills, and students who can get work done. I will vary the tasks given to you to meet the number of hours per week that you have available, given your course load and other obligations.
