Overview
About the Position:
The Second Language Acquisition Lab is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and lab members on data collection for a project on implicit second language learning and grant writing on second language proficiency of bilinguals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct literature reviews and synthesize relevant research for grants and research proposals.
– Assist in data collection, coding, and analysis.
Qualifications:
– Strong interest in second language acquisition and psychology.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Educational background in linguistics and psychology is preferred.
Requirements:
– Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
– Attend weekly meetings.
