Overview
Are you a native speaker of a Bantu language (especially, Kinyarwanda, isiXhosa, or isiZulu)? We’re looking for an undergraduate student to help with a language research project.
Responsibilities:
- Write natural, well-formed sentences in the Bantu language you speak
- Meet regularly with the research team to talk about and improve the sentence materials
Depending on your interest, there may also be chances to:
- Learn more about how sentence structure works in different languages
- See how language experiments are designed and run
- Get experience that could lead to presenting at a conference
No prior research experience is required—just an interest in language and a willingness to collaborate!
