Overview

The Clean Energy & Environment Legacy Transition Initiative (CELT), hosted at the BU Institute for Global Sustainability, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student with experience or interest in qualitative research methods to support a study about integrating environmental health and health equity into web-based land use tools. The research team will be interviewing users and developers (e.g., urban planners, government officials, GIS specialists, academics, or other related practitioners) of land use tools to inform the development of future tools that allow for better incorporation of health into land use decision-making. Tasks include supporting interviews (e.g., conducting background research, notetaking, etc.), codebook development, coding interview transcripts, organizing research materials, or conducting targeted literature reviews.
