Financial Support
Accepted doctoral students receive five years of fellowship support including tuition and academic fees, individual health coverage through the University’s student medical insurance plan, and a stipend of $36,782 per calendar year (based on 2021-22). Funding will come from a combination of doctoral research assistantships, teaching fellowships, a service-free fellowship, or a combination of these options. Continuation of the initial year of funding will depend on making satisfactory academic progress in the doctoral program.
