  • Ends: 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024
Our country is in the midst of an election season like no other. But are the ways candidates communicate with voters all that different? And is what they’re saying bringing us closer as a country – or pushing us apart? In this month’s virtual panel discussion, our panel will explore the state of political communication in advertising, messaging, imagery and technology. Speakers: Tobe Berkovitz, Professor Emeritus, College of Communication, Boston University; Samantha Gross (COM’18), Politics Reporter, Boston Globe; Diane Hessan, founder and chairman, C Space, and author, Our Common Ground: Insights from Four Years of Listening to American Voters; Moderator: Anne Danehy, Associate Dean, Academic Affairs, and Associate Professor of the Practice, College of Communication, Boston University.
