Many of these civil rights attacks manifest as opposition to diversity or difference. These attacks often occur in the educational space, where the usefulness of critical thinking, holistic understanding, and elevating unheard voices has been often subject to skepticism.
As the Supreme Court has changed the landscape of inclusive practices, it is worthwhile to have a discussion on the importance of promoting diversity. How can educational institutions and legal systems continue to pursue diversity and multicultural competency?
