FitRec Membership
As a full-time student at Boston University, you are automatically granted access to the Fitness and Recreation Center, one of the country’s top university fitness centers. During your time at Boston University you have access to our phenomenal facilities, the chance to participate with dozens of Club Sports and Intramural Teams and a discounted rate for our wide variety of recreation classes and access to physical education classes for college credit. Take advantage of FitRec’s incredible offerings and incorporate wellbeing into your daily routine!
As a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, the only thing you need to access FitRec is your BU Terrier Card. Part-time students pay a nominal monthly fee. Visiting Scholars are eligible for membership at the Faculty/Staff level.

Access to FitRec for full-time students is included in your tuition. Please sign your waiver to activate your BUID.

Marriage certificate must be submitted to perdmbsg@bu.edu prior to attempting to purchase spouse membership. We will confirm receipt when reviewed. Prior to submitting marriage certificate, ensure your spouse has been added to your household within your MyFitRec account. To add a new person to your household, log in, click the “My Account” button, and then select “Manage Household Information”.
This is a monthly membership. There will be a reoccurring charge on the first of each month until membership is cancelled.

- Proof of marriage must be submitted to perdmbsg@bu.edu before purchasing the spouse membership
- Cancellation Policy – members must cancel by the 25th of the month to end the monthly plan
