About Farinaz Valamanesh

Farinaz is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer with a background in computer science. She is interested in branding, publication, and web design. She has worked on projects with a focus on social issues and human connections, such as her BFA thesis, Empathy Project that was an anti-discrimination interactive installation, and her MFA thesis project Talking Through Symbols that focused on the topic of freedom of speech.

Farinaz has worked with non-profits like Autism Speaks, the Open Pantry of Greater Lowell, and Melmark New England as a designer and has showcased her work at the Art on the Marquee at Boston Convention Center, New England Book Show at Boston Symphony Hall, Boston Art Book Fair, and Odds and Ends Art Book Fair.
