Cathy Perron

Associate Professor Emeritus Cathy Perron created the Media Ventures program at Boston University and now serves as its Internship Director. Her 30 years of teaching on both the graduate and undergraduate levels focused on media innovation. Cathy’s industry experience includes her work as a television program executive for network affiliates in major markets. She served as a programming consultant for national cable networks and for public television. Cathy has been recognized with many prestigious awards, including a George Foster Peabody Award and a national Emmy. Her consulting and board work focuses on building value with the creation and expansion of content over multiple distribution platforms.
